This checkerbord quilt was on display in a quilt shop in Appleton, WI when we were on one of our excursions. Though the quilt on display was done in 30s fabrics, I loved how it looked - so I decided to do it in pastels, I love the backing and the binding on this quilt! I do think it needed more top quilting!
