Grateful Threads started playing "strip poker" at the Fall 2019 UFO Retreat. Played with 2 1/2" x 42" strips of material. The winners (2) made quilts from the strips and then donated them to the Quilt Auction. March 2020 UFO Retreat was canceled. Five of our group got together for a great visit and strip poker. The theme for the strip material was "Christmas." One of our members won that wasn't with us. The material was divided between the two of us. These strips are now quilts for the 2021 CJHC Quilt Auction. We are grateful for our time at the UFO Retreats. From these retreats friendshps have been made, along with great quilts. I'm glad we thought of this fun way to make quilts for the auction.
